Scared Stiff ProgramThe program is a part of the Midnight Basketball League Program’s health component and is designed to create positive interaction and venues that decrease at-risk youth’s involvement in gun violence within the community. Searching for ways to curb community gun violence, the Scared Stiff program strives to help teens and young adults (ages 13 – 25 years) develop a new respect for life by collaborating with concerned religious leaders, public officials, parents, educators, and concerned citizens. The program presents teens and young adults with a candid and graphic view of the destructive toll of gun violence and its impact on the community.
